Cinnamon oil is extracted by steam distillation from the bark of the Ceylon cinnamon tree. Commonly used in aromatherapy and skin care, it has strong bactericidal and antiseptic properties and is also a valued aphrodisiac. In skin care, it is especially recommended for acne skin, applied spotwise on imperfections, it effectively inhibits their development.
Use 3 to 5 drops for inhalation, air aromatization and bathing. Do not use the oil undiluted on the skin.
