Recigar helps reduce nicotine cravings and supports permanent cessation of nicotine-containing products. The therapy usually lasts 25 days, and one pack is enough for a full cycle. The main ingredient is cytisine - an alkaloid that affects nicotine receptors. Cytisine competes with nicotine for the same receptors and si to them more strongly, gradually displacing nicotine from the body. Thanks to this, nicotine addiction gradually decreases, and the body gets used to functioning without tobacco without strong withdrawal symptoms.

HOW TO USE

Always use exactly as described in the patient information leaflet.

When not to use Recigar:

-if the patient is allergic to cytisine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,

-in case of unstable angina pectoris,

-if you have recently had a heart attack or stroke,

-in case of clinically significant cardiac arrhythmias,

-during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Very common side effects (affecting 1 or more in 10 people):

- change in appetite (mainly increase), weight gain,

-headaches, irritability,

-sleep disorders (insomnia, drowsiness, lethargy, strange dreams, nightmares),

-mood changes, anxiety,

-acceleration of the heart rate,

-dry mouth,

-abdominal pain (mainly in the epigastrium), nausea, muscle pain.

Common side effects (affects 1 to 10 people in 100):

-dizziness, difficulty concentrating,

- slowing down of the heart rate, increased blood pressure,

-vomiting,

- changes in taste,

-constipation, diarrhea, flatulence,

-burning tongue, heartburn,

-rash,

-fatigue, bad mood.

Uncommon side effects (affects 1 to 10 people in 1,000):

- feeling of heaviness in the head,

-weakened sex drive,

-tearing,

- shortness of breath, increased expectoration, excessive salivation, increased sweating,

-reduced skin elasticity.
