A natural herbal raw material in the form of dried senna leaves (Senna alexandrina Mill.). Senna leaf is traditionally used in herbal medicine to prepare infusions with a laxative effect. It contains natural plant compounds, primarily sennosides, which belong to the group of hydroxyanthracene glycosides. Senna leaf preparations si traditionally used for the short-term treatment of constipation.

METHOD OF PREPARATION AND USE

Infusion: pour 250 ml of boiling water over about 1/2 teaspoon of dried senna leaves (about 5 g).

Cover and steep for about 10 minutes, then strain.

Use once daily, preferably in the evening. The laxative effect usually occurs after about 8–12 hours.

Use the smallest effective amount and only for a short time. Do not use for longer than 7 days without consulting a doctor.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to senna or any of the product ingredients.

Do not use in case of intestinal obstruction or stenosis, intestinal atony, acute intestinal inflammation, abdominal pain of unknown origin, nausea or vomiting.

Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Do not use for long periods or in doses higher than recommended. Long-term use of laxatives may lead to fluid and electrolyte imbalance and dependence on their effects.

Do not use in case of dehydration or significant electrolyte deficiency.

People taking medication, especially diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice-containing preparations or medications that affect heart rhythm, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the product without consulting a doctor.

If constipation persists or recurs, severe abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, nausea, vomiting or no improvement occurs after using the product, consult your doctor.

Do not exceed the recommended amount for consumption.

The product cannot replace a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Store in a dry place, protect from light and moisture and keep out of the reach of small children.
